Greg, thousands of people in the world think like you -- they learn a tiny piece of information about psychology -- such as that video posted -- and then let their own imagination, perception of the world, and a few opinion based articles here and there, to create a pseudo view of human thought.
.. And then they think they&#039;re special because they thought of it themselves.

I recall reading tons of scientific articles on males thinking with the big picture, while females thought with the little details. I remember one article even stating only females had a certain part of the brain, that controls the little details. (it was hilarious and sad, because they even made up the name of this imaginary part of the brain...) 
Basically, information is contageous, whether true, false or just plain silly. 

Even then, Global vs Linear is just once way to look at it... There&#039;s right brain vs left brain, rational thought vs irrational thought, creativity vs logic, diversity vs homogenization...
